Green Travel Day at Fosse Park

On 13th June 2026, Green Travel Day is returning to Fosse Park for a free, fun-packed event filled with creative activities, sustainable ideas and games for all the family.

Join their friendly local experts and discover more about travelling by bus, bike, on foot or car sharing to get to Fosse Park. 

Brands participating on the day include:

• First Bus - Creative storytelling (read more below)

• Arriva - Get on an actual Arriva bus and see what it's like

• Choose How You Move - Badge making & active travel options in Leicestershire

• Local Police - UV bike marking

• Go Travel - use the paint spinning bike to make some art and take part in a trail to find the buses

• Complete the "Find the Bus" treasure trail and WIN A PRIZE!

Find them on the lanes between Next and Food Central from 10am-4pm.

First Bus Storytelling Activity

Enjoy readings of their children’s storybook, Tiny Foot and Evie’s Adventure to Tiny Street, a fun-filled storybook featuring Evie, their eco-friendly electric bus, and her sidekick, Tinyfoot. Together, they’re off to Tiny Street, where they meet a colourful cast of characters who discover just how much electric buses can help reduce their carbon footprint.

With readings every 30 minutes, you can drop in whenever it fits your day at Fosse Park, especially with so much to see and enjoy.
