Pop-up Beach FAQs
Planning a visit to our pop-up beach? We’ve pulled together a bit of info to ensure the Beach is fun for everyone this summer!
The beach is here until the 30th of August.
Yes, however it is weather dependent. If rain is forecasted, or there are windy conditions, the beach will remain closed so please check ahead before you plan your visit.
The beach will open in line with our Centre trading hours on each day but please note, closing times can vary depending on the weather. We will aim to keep it open as long as possible.
We have limited the capacity to 10 at anyone time (adults and children) inside the beach. It’s first come first serve. Please wait or come back in a while if the beach is busy.
All deckchairs must remain off the beach on the paving to allow sufficient room for children to play on the beach.
Food and drink is not permitted on the beach to ensure the sand remains safe for play. If the sand becomes contaminated, we will close the beach to visitors for cleaning. Please eat outside of the beach area and use the bins provided to dispose of your waste.
Our team will monitor the area from time-to-time, but it is the responsibility of parents and carers to supervise their children and ensure they follow the beach rules on display at the entrance.
